Definitions and Interpretation

In these terms, the following words have the following meanings:

Contract: The contract for the sale and purchase of the Goods.
Delivery Area: Only mainland addresses within England, Wales, and parts of Scotland. All offshore addresses are excluded, including the Isle of Man, the Scottish Isles, Ireland, and the Channel Isles.
Goods: The range of antiques (including any instalment of the goods or any parts for them) which are available for purchase from our website in accordance with the terms.
The Website: Our presence on the Internet, currently accessible via www.warmansantiques.co.uk
The Seller, We, or Us: Warmans Antiques, located in Bashley, New Forest.

Basis of the Sale

An agreement for us to sell you Goods is made on these terms when we accept an order made by you via our Website. The description of the Goods, the price, VAT, insurance, and delivery costs are set out on the order page. We will confirm acceptance of your order on-screen.

We aim to give you a clear idea of the nature of the antiques we sell. However, due to their vintage nature, there may be slight variations in condition, size, and appearance. Illustrations and descriptions are for guidance only. We may, in our discretion, from time to time, vary the nature of the Goods from those advertised without prior notice, provided such variations are not material alterations.

Details of the Order

Orders are accepted at our sole discretion but are normally accepted if the Goods are available, the order reflects current pricing, you are based in the Delivery Area, and your credit or account card is authorised for the transaction.

Price of the Goods

If the price of the Goods increases between the date we accept your order and the delivery date, we will notify you and request confirmation via email. If the new price is not acceptable, you may cancel the order.

Our charges for transport, packaging, and insurance are detailed on the order page and included in the total price.

Payment Terms

We will charge your credit card upon receipt of the order unless delivery cannot be fulfilled within 30 days. If delivery is delayed beyond this, payment will be taken up to 7 days prior to dispatch. If full payment is not obtained before dispatch, we may cancel the Contract or suspend further deliveries.

Delivery

We will deliver to the address specified in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. Please be precise about delivery instructions. We cannot accept liability for loss or damage once delivered as per your instructions.

Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to factors beyond our control, we will notify you of the delay.

Risk and Ownership

Risk of damage or loss passes to you at the time of delivery. You will own the Goods once successfully delivered and full payment is received. Goods are not for resale.
